Each and every adoption is so important to us. Each one represents a shared victory between the rescue and the adoptive family in saving a dog’s life.

Some adoptions are cause for a little extra celebration. That was the case when Spirit, our pittie puppy with the broken leg, went home last week. The adopter saw Spirit’s picture online when we first rescued her, and it was love at first sight. She emailed us right away to inquire. She went through our adoption process and was able to take Spirit home after our special puppy healed from her spay and hernia surgery. The adopter will make sure Spirit has the surgery to repair her leg when she’s fully grown. Spirit will know nothing but love for the rest of her life.
