Kaia came to Happy Paws Rescue Inc. as a retired laboratory-research beagle. The two-year-old pup was adjusting to being just a normal dog and was ready to start a new life with a loving adoptive family. But Kaia had a set back. After having a spay surgery, she had a reaction to the suture material and an internal inflammatory mass formed. Kaia needed a second surgery to remove the tumor that had formed and is now recovering comfortably in her foster home.
Although Kaia has a pending adoption with a wonderful family, Happy Paws Rescue is doing everything possible to cover the cost of this unexpected additional surgery. Please help us continue to help dogs like Kaia be able to live happy and healthy lives by making a donation below. Kaia and Happy Paws Rescue Inc. thank you!
