Our sweet Peach

Life hasn’t been so peachy for our 10-week-old foster kitten, Peach. She and her siblings Pippa, Parka, and Peanut, were brought in from the outside by a local couple. The couple asked us for help in finding the cats homes, so we took them in as Happy Paws kitties. We noticed that Peach was limping on her front right paw, so we brought her to the vet for x-rays. It turns out the poor girl has an infection in the bone of her elbow. It is so bad that it has eaten away most of the bone. Both the vet and an orthopedic surgeon have agreed that Peach should have that arm amputated.

The surgery is scheduled for Tuesday, July 26th. The x-rays totaled $150 and the amputation surgery will cost $400, so we’re looking to raise $550 for Peach’s care. Would you be so kind to donate a few dollars to help us nurse Peach back to health? If so, please contribute to the Chip In below.
After the surgery, Miss Peach will spend some time recuperating in a foster home. Then she’ll be ready to find her forever home. If you or someone you know might be interested in adopting our sweet Peach, please fill out an application and email it to us at [email protected].
